Oh Boy! A Small Fairy Tale

Once upon a time there was a baby shower.  It was for the darling daughter of a dear family friend who just so happened to be expecting a baby boy.  Because that darling daughter had one of the sweetest mothers in all the land, the shower was going to be full of love and happiness and dreams come true.  One day the sweet mother came to a certain kitchen elf and asked her to create a dessert centerpiece for that wonderful party.  The kitchen elf thought and thought and finally an idea came that was perfectly perfect!  With a little kitchen magic, she created a centerpiece that made the mother smile and the party complete.  And they all lived happily ever after.

Okay….that is not a real fairy tale.  Except for the part about the daughter being darling, the friend being dear, the party being thrown with happiness and the centerpiece being a perfect idea for a party or shower.  Oh.  And the happily ever after part (Because of the beautiful baby boy that is coming soon, not because of the beautiful cupcakes that celebrate his approaching arrival…..but it never hurts to eat cupcakes, they DO make you smile.  And they very well could be a part of any Happily Ever After you may be having at the moment.  Did I mention that in addition to being really darling, they taste amazing too?).
